Cannatrona, a designer and manufacturer of filter tips and mouthpieces, today announced the appointment of Jeni Sperry as head of business development.

With more than 15 years of experience in the cannabis sector, Sperry is skilled in brand development and operations across diverse industries and will be directly customer-facing in the role. Her career includes previous roles at globally recognized companies such as Tesla, Guess Jeans and Cookies Retail. She also played a crucial role as the vice president of sales and marketing for California extraction brand, Friendly Farms.

The move is a milestone for Cannatrona, a new entity under parent company Filtrona, reflecting another step in the company's evolution and commercial growth.

"The rising demand for pre-rolls signals a clear need for innovative and regulatory-savvy solutions," Sperry said in a statement. "That's the sweet spot for Cannatrona."

As Cannatrona launches into the North American and Canadian cannabis markets, Sperry's role will see her connecting directly with cannabis and hemp product developers.
