Franny's Manufacturing has turned to crowdfunding platform Start Engine to raise money to expand CBD manufacturing. The company is part of Franny's Farmacy, a vertically integrated business that delivers CBD products from seed to shelf.
The campaign launched in January 2020 with a minimum goal of raising $10,000.
As of June 8, 2020, with 21 days remaining, the company has 273 investors who have contributed nearly $140,000.
The money will be used to increase manufacturing capacity by bringing in more equipment, expanding production facilities and hiring staff.
Franny's Farmacy products are manufactured in small custom-made batches at the company's facilities in Asheville, NC.
