Alabama Cannabis Gummies Can Only Come in One Flavor

That goes for all gelatinous cube, cuboid, and lozenge medical cannabis products.

Alabama this week handed out several medical cannabis licenses covering integrated facilities, cultivation, dispensaries and secure transport.

Processors planning to make cannabis gummies in the state will have to adhere to some unique flavor standards.

The Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission said edibles must conform to the state’s universal flavor, which is peach.

That goes for all gelatinous cube, cuboid, and lozenge medical cannabis products.

Alabama will also require cannabis processors to meet current Good Manufacturing Practices standards and show that products meet intended purity levels.

Edibles must also be reliably free of toxins and contaminants and cannot be processed into a form that is “attractive to or targets children.”
