They’re in the rough after selling illicit green.

A golf course in California was busted by law enforcement officials for running an illegal cannabis business.

According to Fox26 News, a raid turned up “thousands of dollars worth of illegal cannabis, cannabis products, and paraphernalia.”

The golf club is currently under investigation though no arrests were made. Officials said the illegal dispensary had been up and running for a “significant amount of time.”

“The City of Fresno will continue to work with our State partners to target illegal cannabis operations that hurt our legal cannabis industry,” said Fresno City Attorney Andrew Janz.

The legal action is part of California’s statewide efforts to target illegal cannabis businesses.

The program is designed to increase the scope of illicit cannabis enforcement as well as provide resources, education and cost-effective evidence collection.
