
Atlantic Ultraviolet Corporation has entered the UV-C disinfection cabinet market with its SaniUV-Cube, designed to quickly neutralize bacteria, mold, and viruses on many small items. It is constructed from stainless steel for extreme durability. Removable, washable quartz shelves allow UV-C rays to pass through, ensuring entire surfaces are treated. Four high output lamps deliver optimum UV output.
Additional features include:
- A UV-C blocking, tempered glass observation window
- An elapsed time indicator
- An interlock safety switch interrupts power to the lamps if the door is opened during treatment
- A treatment time keypad controller
- An indicator for lamp replacement
- Molded rubber feet
- Dual cooling fans (intake and exhaust)
SaniUV-Cube can neutralize many pathogens such as C. diff, Staphylococcus aureus, SARS-CoV-2, Candida auris, and Enterococcus faecalis. Custom sizes are available for any facility, such as the types of establishments listed below:
Medical Facilities: Laboratories, clean rooms, operating rooms, morgues, emergency rooms, pathology departments, exam rooms, kidney dialysis labs, dentist offices, nursing homes, kennels, and veterinary clinics.
A pass-through model is currently in development, which will feature a door on either side for installation within a hospital wall. Medical instruments to be sanitized include thermometers, oximeters, scalpels, scissors, and surgical clamps, to name a few. Note: Ultraviolet disinfection will degrade some rubber and plastics. Works best on metal and glass.
Health & Beauty: Spas, nail salons, hairdressers, and barbershops can disinfect small tools like scissors, combs, curling irons, diffusers, mirrors, razors, clippers, tweezers, nail files, styling tools, manicure/pedicure tools, and clips.
Cannabis Cultivation: Seedling trays, surfaces, and tools in cannabis labs can be disinfected.
Industries: Cosmetic, electronic, and pharmaceutical facilities can disinfect various tools used in their manufacturing processes.
