Dutchie, a cannabis point-of-sale system, today announced its integration with BioTrack Florida, Florida's recently-mandated cannabis seed-to-sale tracking system. The partnership marks a milestone in ensuring product safety and regulatory compliance within the state's medical marijuana industry.
BioTrack, now a regulatory requirement since its statewide launch this summer, provides tracking capabilities crucial to Florida’s medical marijuana infrastructure. Dutchie is the first point-of-sale system to successfully integrate with BioTrack Florida, streamlining the tracking process and ensuring accurate and efficient data reporting from cultivation to final sale.
The integration also includes a connection to the Medical Marijuana User Registry (MMUR), offering dispensaries detailed information on patient allotments and usage guidelines.
Key features include:
- Receipt Reconciliation Tool: This tool provides insights and corrective functionality for sales and deliveries. In the event of a traceability outage, it captures any untracked sales that can be reposted when the system recovers.
- Integration Audit: This functionality provides valuable insights into inventory discrepancies between Dutchie’s point-of-sale system and BioTrack, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Accurate Potency Calculations: Consumers benefit from automatic, accurate potency calculations based on independent lab results, ensuring product quality and safety.
Dutchie has an integration with required track-and-trace software in every state with legal cannabis, including all BioTrack and METRC states, as well as custom integrations in states like Washington, Vermont, and Utah.
