Startup Using Jet Engine Tech for Cannabis Processing

The company developed a proprietary system that borrows from the art of mixing jet engine fuel.

A new “luxury” cannabis company that plans to launch in spring 2023 said it will stand out due to the technology it uses to produce its extracts.

LBRTE (pronounced “Liberty”) said it developed a proprietary system for processing cannabis that borrows from the art of mixing jet engine fuel.

According to MarketWatch, the process uses only water, ice, heat and pressure to produce its cannabis extract oils.

Many other cannabis companies promise solventless products but LBRTE believes it will stand out because of its process for washing hash.

The company’s founders, who have worked for car brands like Bentley and Genesis, intend to use their experience to create a luxury cannabis brand.

LBRTE will initially focus on the California cannabis market before looking to expand.

The company said it will sell directly to consumers rather than relying on dispensaries for distribution.
