Zurpz Vapes Recalled, Packaging to Attractive to Kids

On Friday, the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) issued a notice of voluntary recall for multiple Zurpz integrated vaporizer products due to packaging and labeling that is attractive to children.

The products were manufactured by Broadway Alliance LLC and hit the market around the second week of July.

  • Double Dream Connoisseur Resin, DDCRE-ZRP-0625-AIO, 1A4060300005399000159937
  • White Widow Connoisseur Distillate, WWCD-ZRP-0625-AIO, 1A4060300005399000159887
  • Northern Lights Connoisseur Distillate, NLCD-ZRP-0625-AIO, 1A4060300005399000159886

The products were sold at 61 different dispensaries in California. A full list is available here.

Consumers can dispose of the product or return it to the retailer for proper disposal. The DCC added that cannabis vape cartridges and cannabis integrated vaporizers must be properly disposed of as hazardous waste at a household hazardous waste facility or other approved facility.
