This week, Mitchel Chargo, partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson, joins the Cannabis Equipment News podcast to discuss why Minnesota's cannabis program could be great once it finds its footing, and the incredible potential of tribal cannabis.
A personal tragedy brought Mitchel Chargo to cannabis. In 2019, Chargo traumatically lost his father and the event served as a wakeup call in a number of different ways.
At the time, Chargo had been practicing law for decades, but he had an opportunity to leave private practice and join a medical cannabis manufacturing company in Minnesota. He saw the job as an opportunity to shake up his life, but what sold him was his first tour of the company's grow facility. He had never seen anything like it before, and Chargo realized he had a chance to learn a fascinating new subject. He dove in and never looked back.
