
As more states legalize medical and recreational cannabis and demand from the public grows, U.S. cannabis retailers continue to grow their footprints. According to the Pew Research Center, there are already nearly 15,000 cannabis dispensaries in the U.S. Here are all the new cannabis dispensary openings announced this week:
Florida
iAnthus Capital Holdings, which owns, operates and partners with regulated cannabis operations across the United States, has announced the opening of its 23rd GrowHealthy dispensary in Florida, now welcoming patients in Tamarac. Minnesota
Pot Mamas Dispensary & Boutique, a women-led cannabis retail concept, announced its upcoming launch across multiple Minnesota locations, positioning itself as one of the state's first retail cannabis establishments. Sisters Shayna Hoechst, incoming CEO, and Erin Pash, President, are set to open locations in Woodbury, Mendota Heights, and Edina, with two additional locations in undisclosed markets currently in development. The Sanctuary Garden, an adult-use cannabis dispensary located at 2610 Broadway, officially opened its doors this week on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Founded by longtime community organizer, social worker, and legacy cannabis operator Daron Hudson, the Sanctuary Garden is built on a mission of healing, education, and second chances. The Cannabist Company announced the upcoming grand opening of Cannabist Norwalk, located at 383 Milan Avenue. This is the company’s sixth dispensary in Ohio, the first cannabis dispensary in Huron County, and the first to serve the Norwalk community. Read more here.
