Kiva Sales & Service (KSS) and Petalfast today launched Waveform Sales & Logistics, the new name for the tech-forward distribution company formed by their merger. The launch follows the deal's close on August 17, 2026, and arrives ahead of their Hall of Flowers debut on November 3, 2026.

Waveform, the #1 full-service distributor in California, serves 975 active stores, represents 48 leading California brands, including 16 category-leading brands, and completes approximately 30,000 retail deliveries each year — a footprint expanding with the addition of two new semi-trucks to its fleet.

Since KSS and Petalfast signed their letter of intent in March, new brands have joined at a steady pace. Each new partner adds route density, retailer touchpoints and sell-through data across the network, which every partner benefits from. At the center of that advantage is Waveform's growing technology stack: a digital ordering Marketplace, a shared CRM and a dedicated inside sales team that together give field and inside sales teams a real-time, shared view of every account. The pace of new signings reflects both the strength of the Waveform model and the company's continued investment in the technology driving it.

"Every brand we add makes the network stronger for the brands already on board," said Arun Kurichety, CEO of Waveform. "More brands mean denser routes, more buyer touchpoints and sharper sell-through data. We are investing in our Marketplace, our CRM and our inside sales team so every partner, whatever its size or category, gets the scale of California's top full service distributor and the technology to grow with it."

Waveform offers three service tiers, from logistics-only services to full-service sales and distribution, and each tier is built on the same technology backbone. Brands with their own sales teams get direct access to Waveform's warehousing, statewide delivery, compliance and A/R management, all coordinated through the company's digital systems. Brands seeking a full partnership add a dedicated field and inside sales team, a brand manager and guaranteed payments through outright inventory purchase. Every tier runs on the same infrastructure: 70,000 square feet of warehouse space, 45 trucks, two statewide hubs and a 99% in-full delivery rate — all connected by Waveform's technology platform. The Waveform Marketplace, the company's digital ordering platform, supports all three tiers, giving retail buyers live inventory, account-level pricing and exact delivery dates. A shared CRM connects field reps, inside sales and brand managers to the same account data in real time, so brands get clearer reporting, faster decisions and retailers get faster service.

Partner relationships, sales teams and service standards carry over to Waveform without disruption. Kurichety leads Waveform as CEO while Scott Palmer chairs the Waveform board and remains CEO of Kiva Brands. Waveform will build on its position in California — and on continued investment in its Marketplace, CRM and inside sales team — as the company plans expansion into New York and New Jersey, bringing its technology-led distribution model to new markets.

"Waveform is the name for what KSS and Petalfast built together: one company with the reach, the data and the people to move great cannabis brands forward," said Scott Palmer, Co-Founder of KSS and Chair of the Waveform board. "Forty-eight brands now trust us with their path to the shelf, and their trust is the clearest signal of where Waveform is headed."
