Cannabis Dispensary Roundup: New Openings for the Week of Sept. 22

U.S. cannabis retailers continue to grow their footprints.

As more states legalize medical and recreational cannabis and demand from the public grows, U.S. cannabis retailers continue to grow their footprints. According to the Pew Research Center, there are already nearly 15,000 cannabis dispensaries in the U.S. Here are all the new cannabis dispensary openings announced this week:

Massachusetts

Swansea’s first retailer of recreational marijuana opened this past weekend. Ignited Culture open its doors on Saturday, Sept. 20, to its 375 “culture club” insider members. Read more here.

Ohio

Bloom Cannabis Dispensaries announced the upcoming opening of its new dispensary in Athens. The opening marks Bloom's seventh dispensary in the state and is part of the company's continued growth strategy to expand access cannabis across Ohio. Read more here.

Grow Ohio, an East Fultonham cannabis cultivator and processor, has officially opened its first locally owned dispensary. Read more here.

Washington

East Wenatchee has its third cannabis dispensary, Carter’s Cannabis, which opened in August. Owner Michael Carter, 47, is bringing a new license to the city, expanding the valley’s cannabis market. Read more here.
