As more states legalize medical and recreational cannabis and demand from the public grows, U.S. cannabis retailers continue to grow their footprints. According to the Pew Research Center, there are already nearly 15,000 cannabis dispensaries in the U.S. Here are all the new cannabis dispensary openings announced this week:

Maryland

Adam and Sassan Shaool recently opened Koan Cannabis in Hagerstown. They hope to offer an educational, service-driven experience that welcomes both seasoned customers and those new to cannabis. Read more here.

Sweetspot Farms, a cannabis company with dispensaries and sustainable cultivation operations across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, announced the grand opening of its newest dispensary in New Jersey. Read more here.

Pennsylvania

RISE Dispensaries, a cannabis retail chain owned by Green Thumb Industries announced its latest location, RISE Dispensary Lebanon. It's the company’s 19th retail location in Pennsylvania and 108th nationwide. Read more here.
