Connecticut Regulators Say Cannabis Sales Allowed on Thanksgiving

State officials said any reporting to the contrary is "incorrect and should be disregarded."

The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection clarified Wednesday that cannabis sales are allowed in the state on Thanksgiving Day and that licensed establishments may remain open.

Officials said that any reporting to the contrary is "incorrect and should be disregarded."

The agency also encouraged consumers, however, to check directly with retailers regarding their specific holiday hours.
