Cannabis sales continued to decline in Colorado and November 2023 saw some of the lowest combined totals since 2017.
The state said medical and recreational cannabis sales totaled approximately $110 million in November. While medical stayed largely flat at around $14.5 million, recreational dipped to less than $96 million, compared with nearly $114 million during the same month of 2022.
The combined monthly total for November 2023 is the lowest Colorado has recorded since February 2017, nearly seven years ago.
After combined cannabis sales eclipsed $2 billion in both 2020 and 2021, they fell back around $1.77 billion in 2022. Sales through November of 2023 total about $1.4 billion.
