Colorado Cannabis Sales Down Slightly

The market has generated more than $2.6 billion in marijuana tax and fee revenue since 2014.

The Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) has released February 2024 marijuana tax and fee revenue figures and January 2024 marijuana sales figures that were relatively flat from the month prior.

Marijuana tax and fee revenue just eclipsed $22 million in February 2024, bringing the 2024 total to $43,549,755.

Sales in January 2024 reached $115,385,280, which is down slightly from the $115,803,391 sold in December 2023. The figure is also about $14 million less than total marijuana sales in January 2023 ($129,370,166).

In January 2024, medical sales were up more than $500,000 month-over-month, while retail sales dropped about $1 million from December 2023.

Since February 2014, the Colorado market has generated more than $2.6 billion in marijuana tax and fee revenue.
