For the first time in the industry, THC products will be allowed on the exhibit hall floor at the annual Cannabis Business Summit & Expo.
Officials insist the products are for "display purposes only," but it's a big step forward for exhibitors who, until now, were unable to show off their products.
The show is put on by the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA), the nation's largest trade group for the legal cannabis industry.
This year's show will be held September 29 to October 1, 2020 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The expo was previously scheduled for June 2020, but was postponeddue to COVID-19 safety concerns.
The show attracts industry professionals, including cultivation, extraction and product manufacturers.
The Moscone Center will be the first convention center in the nation to allow THC products in the venue.
