Dialed in Gummies, a division of Sun Theory, makes craft rosin gummies. The company carefully selects all raw materials to deliver consistent products now available in Arizona, Colorado, Massachusetts, Missouri and Ohio.
According to Mitch Barton, vice president of transformation at Sun Theory, Dialed in Gummies uses only solventless rosin to manufacture gummies with a high-quality chew and offer an entourage effect. At MJBizCon 2025 in Las Vegas, Barton said the company sources solventless products rather than distillate or live resin because of their superior quality. He said solventless-base rosin maintains all minor terpenes, minor cannabinoids, sesquiterpenes and THC.
He compares solventless rosin to a thumbprint; it yields the purest expression of the flower. Comparatively, distillate strips out everything but the THC, giving gummies more of a one-note feeling instead of a full symphony.
"You have a lot of flower smokers who want to transition into edibles, and the problem is that, a lot of the time, they have to take a distillate gummy and then go smoke a joint to get the full effect," Barton said. He noted that Dialed in Gummies can even help transition rosin smokers, because his gummies hit just like a "fat dab."
"Our goal is to find the best rosin or flower producers, so we can either wash it and collect our own rosin, because 'fire in, fire out' is the mantra we live by," he added. When you work with the best producers, Barton said, it removes a lot of the heavy lifting that can go into trying to fix a bad gummy.
