Cannabis Dispensary Roundup: New Openings for the Week of Sept. 15

U.S. cannabis retailers continue to grow their footprints.

As more states legalize medical and recreational cannabis and demand from the public grows, U.S. cannabis retailers continue to grow their footprints. According to the Pew Research Center, there are already nearly 15,000 cannabis dispensaries in the U.S. Here are all the new cannabis dispensary openings announced this week:

Florida

Verano Holdings, a multi-state cannabis company, announced the opening of MÜV Crystal River on September 19, elevating the company’s Florida retail footprint to 82 MÜV locations and 158 dispensaries nationwide. Read more here.

Minnesota

Minnesota's recreational cannabis market has been dogged by delays but this week, two years after the state legalized adult-use cannabis, multiple multi-state operators (MSO) and microbusiness retailers, including Vireo Health and Green Thumb Industries are ready to start selling to the public. Ohio

Jushi Holdings, a vertically integrated, multi-state cannabis operator, announced the grand opening of its Beyond Hello Parma dispensary in Parma, Ohio. Beyond Hello Parma marks the company’s 6th store in the state of Ohio joining Cincinnati, Toledo, Oxford, Warren and Mansfield, and the 41st operating retail location nationwide. Read more here.
