Synfinite Labs, the terpene and flavor company formerly known as The Terpene Store, has named Andrew Wells Director of Sales. Wells leads Synfinite's revenue strategy, customer development and commercial expansion as the company carries its rebrand into its next phase of growth and to a wider customer base.

Founded in 2015 by Mike Schneider, Synfinite Labs formulates botanical and cannabis-derived terpene blends, strain-specific profiles and flavor systems for cannabis and hemp brands making vapes and infused flower. The company owns and operates a custom-built 13,000-square-foot, ISO 9001-certified manufacturing facility in Northridge, California and maintains a library of more than 300 third-party-tested formulations. Synfinite Labs works with hundreds of brands across all states and ships its products worldwide.

Wells joins from Sorting Robotics, the Y Combinator-backed cannabis automation company, where he served as Chief of Staff and then Head of Sales. Previously, he held Chief Brand Officer roles at Rise Co-Packing and Jiko Joints, and co-founded Lauren B. Beauty, where as COO he expanded the brand into more than 15 countries. He holds a B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Pepperdine University and an MBA from Benedictine University and is currently in Harvard Business School's Program for Leadership Development.

At Synfinite, Wells is focused on deepening relationships with existing brand partners, expanding into new markets, and building a sales operation to support the company's next stage of growth. Wells has already begun injecting his unique industry knowledge and insights into Synfinite's sales processes.

"Flavor is one of the last real ways for a cannabis brand to stand apart," said Mike Schneider, Founder of Synfinite Labs. "Synfinite was built to be the partner that brands can rely on, and a dedicated sales leader helps us reach more people."

"Flavor wins the first purchase. Consistency wins the second. We study how consumers experience our customers' products and bring that insight into development early," said Wells.

Wells and the Synfinite team will exhibit at MJBizCon 2026 showcasing their latest innovations in Las Vegas, December 1-4, at Booth 23313. Wells and Schneider are available for interviews before and during the show.
