This week, Luna Stower, head of impact at Ispire Technology, joins the Cannabis Equipment News podcast to discuss why we need to stop over-regulating, overtaxing, and over-controlling cannabis.
Luna Stower has been a cannabis advocate for some 20 years. A patient first, she says she started using cannabis in the sixth grade and has been smoking it, growing it and selling it ever since.
Stower says cannabis could be a "golden goose" if we stopped strangling it. She says it's time to stop over-regulating, overtaxing, and over-controlling the plant. "We could have access [to] really high quality medicine made by a diverse group of producers," all at a decent cost and available via drop shipping.
Stower is the head of Ispire Technology's advocacy efforts and brings about two decades of experience in scaling and supporting cannabis brands through education, social equity, and innovative business practices. Ispire designs, develops and manufactures cannabis vaping products.
Stower's leadership in championing equity-driven initiatives has earned her several accolades, including the California Cannabis Awards' Best Activist of 2023 and the Global Legalization Award by CannaPortugal.
