The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) is issuing a product recall for hemp flower pre-rolls that may have much higher levels of THC than listed on the label.
It warned that consumption of this product may cause unintended intoxication. The affected pre-rolls were distributed by Simply Sol to OLCC-licensed marijuana retailers. Simply Sol said it has received one complaint regarding this product.
The OLCC is using the state’s Cannabis Tracking System (CTS) to identify affected inventory and issue notices to retailers and other licensees to halt further distribution and sale.
The full list of impacted products is available here.
The OLCC is urging consumers who purchased the recalled products to destroy them. OLCC staff is continuing to work with retailer licensees to remove the products from being offered for sale, and an investigation is ongoing to determine what caused the product to be transferred and sold to consumers.
