Multi-state cannabis operator Terrabis has opened what it said is believed to be the first dispensary drive-thru in Illinois to feature two drive-thru windows at its Grayville location.
The dual-window design is the largest of its kind, allowing the dispensary to serve two vehicles at once.
The launch follows the passage of Senate Bill 3222, which authorized Illinois dispensaries to offer drive-thru and curbside pickup, and builds on Terrabis' early rollout of recreational curbside pickup across its Illinois locations earlier this year.
"Illinois customers told us loud and clear that they wanted drive-thru access, and we didn't just want to add a window, we wanted to build the best drive-thru experience in the state. Two windows mean shorter waits, faster pickups, and more time back in our customers' day. It's the same convenience we pioneered in Missouri, now built for Illinois," said Terrabis CEO Dan Ambrosino in a statement.
The company opened two of Missouri's earliest dispensary drive-thrus in O'Fallon and Springfield in 2021, and earlier this year expanded its O'Fallon drive-thru to 24-hour operations, seven days a week.
Terrabis is a privately held multi-state cannabis operator with a corporate office in Chicago. The company has dispensaries in Illinois and Missouri, with a product manufacturing facility in Kansas City.
