RAW Genetics, the cannabis brand led by Josh Kesselman, founder of RAW Rolling Papers and owner of High Times Magazine, announced the launch of its first plant-touching cannabis portfolio.
The seven-product collection spans two complementary lines: RAWthentic flower pre-rolls and RAWsin solventless rosin vapes and rosin-infused pre-rolls. Products are rolling out in limited batches at select licensed dispensaries in California, Arizona, New Mexico, New York and Oklahoma.
"For decades, RAW has helped people enjoy cannabis with our rolling papers without ever being plant-touching ourselves. RAW Genetics is going to change the world in a beautiful way," said Kesselman in a statement. "I love this industry, but I have personally seen far too many awful pre-rolls packed too tight or too loose, made with poorly or incorrectly rolled cones and filled with trim, lows and stems. That hurts the reputation of ALL pre-rolls. It was time for us to step up, lead by example and give the industry something worth copying."
RAW Genetics serves as the umbrella brand for RAWthentic and RAWsin. RAWthentic, the flower-focused line, promises hand-trimmed buds with no shake, trim or leftover material. Launched with pre-rolls, each is formulated at 25% THC or higher, individually weighed and packed using the Apehex Pre-Roll System to promote consistent density, airflow and burn performance, then finished with a folded Dutch flower crown.
Rather than keeping its production methods proprietary, RAW Genetics and Kesselman are openly sharing the steps behind its pre-roll construction and encouraging other producers to follow, improve upon and eventually surpass them. Kesselman's goal is to establish a transparent benchmark to help raise quality across the category.

The RAWsin brand is debuting solventless rosin vapes and infused pre-rolls that pair flower with solventless rosin made from fresh-frozen, uncured cannabis. The plant material is washed in ice water and gently pressed with heat, without chemical solvents, to preserve terpenes, flavor and the natural characteristics of the flower. The infused pre-rolls use Xylem technology to distribute rosin precisely and support an even, run-free burn.
