Act Lab, a multistate cannabis and hemp testing and compliance laboratory network with more than 12 years in the cannabis testing space, announced its expansion into New Jersey.

The expansion follows the acquisition of Sriven Labs, a licensed cannabis testing laboratory serving New Jersey’s regulated cannabis market.

“Act Lab’s expansion in New Jersey builds on the strong customer relationships, local knowledge, and experienced team established by Sriven Labs, while adding the scientific depth and resources of one of the nation’s largest and most experienced cannabis testing laboratory networks,” said Act Lab CEO J. Michael Drozd in a statement. “In addition to strengthening local testing capabilities, ACT LAB’s national laboratory network provides meaningful value for both multistate operators and independent cannabis businesses who operate in New Jersey.”

Act Lab’s customer data portal delivers centralized access to multi-state testing data and provides trending tools. Over the past year, the company expanded its Pennsylvania operations with a second laboratory in Harrisburg, relocated and expanded its Ohio laboratory to Columbus to improve statewide service and turnaround times, and completed an expansion of its Illinois laboratory to increase testing capacity for operators.

Customers will continue working through their existing local contacts, while gaining access to Act Lab’s broader scientific resources, standardized methodologies, and multi-state laboratory network. The company remains committed to maintaining continuity of service while investing in additional laboratory capabilities that support New Jersey’s regulated cannabis industry.
