More Americans will be incorporating cannabis into their Thanksgiving celebrations this year.
About 90% of cannabis consumers said they’ll stock up for the holidays, according to a new survey.
Ayr Wellness and Suzy surveyed 1,600 people and found that 70% plan to buy enough cannabis to share with family and friends.
According to Forbes, the survey results demonstrate that cannabis is becoming more mainstream and no longer just a specialty item.
The survey suggests that two-thirds of consumers will buy the same amount of cannabis as they typically do during the holidays.
However, 24% of respondents said they will spend more money on cannabis this year.
Consumers on average expect to drop about $112 on cannabis during the holiday season.
