Colorado Dispensary Opens Cannabis Vending Machine

For now, the machine does not accept debit or credit cards – only cash.

A dispensary in Aurora, Colorado has installed its first Automated Cannabis Experience (ACE), or a cannabis vending machine.

According to the Denver Post, the ACE allows customers to place their orders via touchscreen before it dispenses them.

The ACE can hold up to 1,152 products.

The machine is refrigerated so it’s better equipped to store cannabis products like flower, edibles and vape oil cartridges.

Customers need to scan their ID before they can start picking out products to purchase.

For now, the machine does not accept debit or credit cards – only cash.

Terrapin Care Station developed ACE with a Canadian vending machine company.

The company is calling it the “first fully automated cannabis kiosk on the market.”
