A cannabis testing lab based in Massachusetts has accused the state’s Cannabis Control Commission of retaliatory behavior.
He said when he reported “serious public health concerns,” the CCC responded by launching an investigation into his business.
“The investigation was then cited by the CCC as an excuse to prevent us from engaging with commissioners regarding consumer safety,” Kahn said.
Kahn accused the CCC of using investigations as a means of keeping cannabis licensees quiet.
He attended the meeting to voice support for a new measure that would establish an internal audit unit within the CCC.
