Cookies Dispensary Accused of Multiple Violations During Grand Opening

It reportedly let underage guests attend and use cannabis on the property.

New Mexico regulators have accused a Cookies cannabis dispensary of multiple violations that allegedly took place during a grand opening event.

Regulators are reportedly considering disciplinary actions for violations of the state’s Cannabis Regulation Act.

The dispensary allegedly allowed someone under the age of 21 to attend the event and allowed attendees to consume cannabis without having a consumption license.

Cookies also allegedly made a social media post that showed someone consuming cannabis on the dispensary’s property.

The dispensary is also accused of unlawful co-mingling of alcoholic beverages and cannabis, and a violation of cannabis product display requirements.

New Mexico’s Cannabis Control Division said Blue Whale Enterprises, which operates Cookies, has requested a hearing.
