Maryland saw cannabis sales take off during the first month of the state’s adult-use recreational market.
The state released new sales data showing nearly $85 million in total cannabis sales for the month of July.
According to WMAR, it’s more than double the amount of sales from just medical cannabis in July 2022.
Cannabis bud accounted for the majority of sales, totaling more than $51 million during the month.
It was followed by cannabis concentrates, which accounted for approximately $22 million of sales.
Both infused and non-infused edibles along with shake trim and plants made up the remaining sales.
