Denver Restaurant Launches Queso-Flavored Cannabis Vape

“Food and marijuana go well together, so we felt this is a nice harmony."

A Denver, Colorado restaurant has teamed with a local cannabis company for a unique National Queso Day celebration.

According to the Denver Post, Illegal Pete’s has partnered with O.pen to make a queso-flavored cannabis vape pen.

O.pen, which makes other cannabis vape flavors like Apple Fritter and Biscotti, said the queso vape gets its flavor from a cannabis strain called UK Cheese.

O.pen brought the idea for the queso-flavored vape to Illegal Pete owner Pete Turner, who thought it was “genius.”

“Food and marijuana go well together, so we felt this is a nice harmony,” said O.pen spokesperson Brittany Hallet.

The vape retails for $37 and customers get a free small order of chips and queso at Illegal Pete’s.

National Queso Day is September 20th.
