Michigan's Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) and cannabis processor Bloomfield Development Group Grow today announced a voluntary recall for a limited number of marijuana-infused edibles.
The Sweet Cheeks Cannabis-Infused White Chocolate Booties were recalled because the producer can't provide evidence the product is homogeneous. The product also exceeds the maximum dose of 10 mg of THC per serving, according to the pubic health and safety bulletin.
In Metrc, the product is spelled “Sweet Cheecks White Chocolate 10 pc” and as “Sweet Cheeks” on the product packaging.
The product was sold between June 16, 2023, and October, 17, 2023. The packaging shows an expiration date of May 5, 2024.
While the CRA can't comment on open investigations, the agency did note that the product was only distributed to two retailers. The shops have a total of 62 products remaining, 32 packages were sold.
The recall applies to product sold at a pair of dispensaries, Endo in Adrian, and Bloomfield Development Group Grow in Gould City.
Consumers are asked to return the products to the dispensaries for proper disposal.
