Goddess Growers, a woman-owned cannabis edibles company, yesterday announced the launch of its product line in Ohio's medical cannabis market.
Partnering with licensed manufacturer BeneLeaves, the Waukegan, IL-based Goddess will have distribution across the state.
The company’s suite of products will be available in medical dispensaries beginning in March, with plans to participate in Ohio’s forthcoming adult-use market.
The fast-acting full-spectrum gummies are formulated by a team of scientists and incorporate THC, CBD, THCV and Mother Elixir, a proprietary blend of terpenes and flavonoids. According to the company, they deliver a consistent, calming high.
The gummies are precisely-dosed, vegan and gluten-free, and designed to provide stress-relief effects. They integrate THCV to eliminate "the munchies," and feature flavors, like Mango, Sour Strawberry Lemonade and Sour Watermelon.
The Ohio medical market launched in 2016 and services some 750,000 patients. The state remains one of the largest medical cannabis markets in the U.S.
The upcoming adult-use market, which was legalized through a successful ballot measure in November 2023, is expected to catapult the industry to new heights.
Ohio is the seventh largest state with a population of nearly 12 million residents. Headset predicts Ohio's market could quickly balloon to well over $1 billion, representing one of the fastest-growing legal cannabis markets in the country.
