RollPros
Cannabis automation company RollPros has debuted TruRolls, a new quality certification program for cannabis pre-rolls.
Companies that meet the criteria set out by RollPros will get to feature the TruRolls mark on their packaging. The company said brands including Nimbus, Kaprikorn and Mello have already joined the program.
The criteria include:
- Made with whole flower: Every joint must use only whole, high quality flower—no shake or trim is allowed.
- Optimal moisture content: Joints must have at least 10% moisture to guarantee smooth, even burning and a satisfying experience.
- Freshness Focused packaging: Packaging must be designed to keep the product fresh from production to consumption.
- Certified production process: Only products rolled using the RollPros Blackbird system by a RollPros trained operator are eligible.
- Proven operation history: A brand's production operation must have been running for at least three months.
- Verified flower quality: Documentation or photo proof may be requested to confirm that the flower meets TruRoll standards.
- Good standing with RollPros: The brand must maintain a positive relationship with RollPros support. Certification is a team effort with support and leadership to ensure every TruRoll product meets the highest starndards.
