Cannabis Dispensary Design Blasted as ‘Really Ugly’

You be the judge.

A proposed cannabis dispensary in Norwalk, Connecticut is drawing some unfavorable reviews for its exterior design.

Shangri-La’s forthcoming drive-thru dispensary features a shiny pink, purple and white facade, which CEO Nevil Patel said will help get attention.

“The architectural design is rather unique for the area,” he said, according to The Hour.

But Planning and Zoning Commission Chair Louis Schulman said, “I find this building ugly. Really ugly. Unnecessarily so.”

Nevertheless, Shangri-La is moving ahead with the design, which Patel said will attract customers who want to buy cannabis from a clean, secure and well-lit business.

The new dispensary is on track to open before the end of the year.
