Eteros Technologies on Monday announced a new 12,600-square-foot assembly facility in Las Vegas.

The Canadian company said the new location would be responsible for final assembly of Mobius and Triminator equipment for the U.S. market, along with warehousing and logistics.

The news comes less than a week after Eteros acquired Triminator, a California-based company that specializes in harvesting equipment for the professional cannabis and hemp markets.

Eteros is known for its flagship Mobius Trimmer brand of cannabis and hemp processing equipment. The company previously relied on outside partners for U.S. operations, but as Eteros continues to scale-up its business, officials wanted to bring those functions in-house.

The Las Vegas facility will enable the company to expand inventory, as well as parts on-hand, to improve customer support in the U.S. and improve lead times.

The company is now hiring in Las Vegas; positions are available online
