Vext Science, a U.S.-based specialty retailer operating in the regulated cannabis markets of Ohio and Arizona, announced that, in connection with the matter related to its Herbal Wellness Center dispensary in Jackson, Ohio, the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control (DCC) has authorized the removal of all sale restrictions on the Company's Vapen-branded product lines.
On September 8, 2026, the DCC placed the company's Vapen products on administrative hold based on two reported adverse health events. Based on testing data and analysis, the DCC released the product hold on October 14, 2026. Vapen products are being restocked across the company's Ohio dispensaries and are again available to wholesale customers.
The company said it cooperated fully with the DCC throughout the process, including by providing product samples for independent testing. It also temporarily closed its dispensary in Jackson.
All of the company's Ohio retail locations are fully open, and all product lines authorized for sale in Ohio are fully available.
