Silver Therapeutics, the parent company of Silver Cannabis Company, is the Northeast’s premier cannabis retailer. Today, Silver Cannabis Company is announcing its third dispensary in New York located at 1471 US-9 Unit 3 Lake George, NY 12845 and is open daily from 10 AM - 8 PM EST.

While the dispensary is already fully operating, it will host its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, June 24th at 11 AM and its official grand opening celebration on Friday, June 27th at 10 AM which will feature pop-ups from cannabis and non-cannabis brands, along with local businesses.

Rooted in community and authenticity, this location holds personal significance for the company’s leadership. Josh Silver, co-founder of Silver Therapeutics, grew up in the Albany area and spent his summers in Bolton Landing. Today, he lives in nearby Saratoga Springs. Charlene Wood, the dispensary’s license holder, is a Lake George native and the daughter of the late Charles R. Wood, a cherished local philanthropist and visionary known for transforming the region’s tourism and cultural landscape.

“This store is more than a business venture—it’s a homecoming,” said Silver. “We’re incredibly proud to bring a thoughtful cannabis retail experience to a place that means so much to our team and families.”

Silver Cannabis Company’s Lake George dispensary is designed to serve both local residents and the millions of tourists who flock to the region each year. Staffed primarily by local hires, the team is committed to tailoring inventory to reflect community preferences. Customers can expect a wide variety of high-quality cannabis products, including flower, edibles, pre-rolls, and vapes, with a curated selection of New York brands and products.

To foster community connections, Silver Cannabis Company has already begun forming relationships with nearby businesses and organizations. “The Lake George area truly comes alive over Memorial Day weekend, and we’ve had team members on the ground building relationships ever since,” said Brendan McKee, Co-Founder & COO, Silver Therapeutics. “Our goal is to be a valuable neighbor and partner in this vibrant community.” Early efforts have included sponsoring weekly karaoke nights at the newly opened Jamo’s Pub, participating in events with Northway Brewing, and collaborating on local happenings through the Lake George Chamber of Commerce.
