Cannabis multi-state operator Curaleaf has issued another round of layoffs.
The job cuts were first reported by journalist Grant Smith Ellis, who said multiple VPs were impacted by the corporate layoffs.
Curaleaf confirmed the unspecified amount of layoffs in a statement obtained by MJBizDaily.
“While it’s never an easy decision to lose team members, this process is a normal course of business as we continue to balance our needs and resources to drive the business forward.”
The latest round of layoffs at Curaleaf come after the MSO last summer cut several jobs at a cannabis facility in New Jersey.
According to the report, Curaleaf has about 5,500 employees in its retail, cultivation and processing operations across 17 states.
