CEN at MJBizCon: Making the Best in the History of 'Smoke-Kind'

Raw has cultivated a loyal customer base through its relentless commitment to quality and innovation.

The Cannabis Equipment News (CEN) team recently traveled to MJBizCon 2024 in Las Vegas from December 4 through December 6. At the show, we interviewed leaders from nearly every aspect of the industry.

Raw Rolling Papers consistently launches new smoking accessories and has cultivated a loyal customer base that has come to rely on the company's commitment to quality and innovation.

At MJBizCon 2024, Raw Founder Josh Kesselman discussed a new collaboration with premium vape maker CCELL on an upcoming vape device for all types of live rosin—working title: Raw-sin (watch full interview above). Kesselman also teased the ongoing development of the next generation of the company's Raw Ethereal rolling paper product. He believes the Ethereal line is the thinnest unbleached rolling paper in the world, and the company has finally figured out how to use the paper to make cones. He predicts the new Ethereal line of cones will be a big part of 2025.

Kesselman plays a critical role in his company's R&D process and new product development. He says it's vital to maintain the expected quality for all Raw products. He and his staff have a collective belief that humans are here to serve each other, and if a product isn't right, Raw has failed.

Kesselman's pursuit of excellence is an arduous journey, and he is admittedly hard on staff as he stresses the importance of quality throughout the product line, down to every single rolling paper the company produces.

His overarching goal is to make the best products that have ever been in the history of "smoke-kind." And, if not right away, that goal is something he pursues with every new product.
