CANNA, a company specializing in plant nutrition and substrate synergy, announced the launch of a trial application for qualified licensed growers to experience CANNA Rootplugs — a propagation solution engineered for optimal seed starting and cutting success. The rootplugs are designed for rooting, are fully compostable and degradable, and provide the ideal grow environment that can help reduce pre-veg time.

CANNA Rootplugs are designed to support root development and are suitable for all seeds and cuttings. Unlike other root plugs, CANNA plugs break down easily and compost into the growing medium after transplanting. They offer quick water absorption and the unique structure maintains a desirable balance between aeration and moisture retention to support rapid rooting.

Composed of 10% European peat and 90% coco coir, CANNA Rootplugs integrate with natural substrates. CANNA Rootplugs are available in 1,000 units per box.
